Na h-òrain – The Songs

It was back in 2002 that we first started to sing Gaelic songs as a way to teach the Gaelic language. But the interest in these beautiful songs was so great that we founded a Gaelic choir in Buenos Aires. This is how Ceòlraidh was formed on 20 August 2002, in Argentina.

Many people who were attracted to this project contributed their share to move Ceòlraidh forward throughout the past years. We are very much indebted to them all.

After twelve years, here you have it at last: our first CD! It contains a selection of songs of every kind and style. Although these are pretty famous and certainly people will know them well, you will find one or two new things in them. We all hope you will like the songs, as much as we liked singing them.

Mòran taing a h-huile duine! Many thanks to all!
